Maria Mercedes Ulloa Forero, born in Antioquia, Colombia. He lived in Bogota for many years, where he began to show their artistic talent and good taste through the cuisine and décor. Set special meeting rooms and to the delicate creative ponques decorations, unique desserts and dishes at his restaurant. It is certified as a librarian and teacher and child in 2005 she began her studies at the Art Academy of Gerardo Rueda, which is interested by some techniques but especially wood and under the instruction of Marthica Bonilla, fell in love with the technique of Taracea ¨ ¨.

The artist opened his own workshop in Bogota where a lot of love and a great variety of wood veneer and beautiful fretwork gave life to all his work and gives workshops. In 2006 Maria made his first exhibition at the Gallery of Gerardo Rueda followed by the exhibition of his work in National television, at universities and cultural centers.

In 2007 he moved to San Antonio, Texas, where she married Eugene Hartmann and took the name Maria Hartmann.

During these last years or refitting its workshop and the style that characterizes it, makes its magnificent collection of crosses, besides beautiful decorative tables, a vast variety of cases, Ham and frames. Maria has a permanent exhibit and sell their work at a prestigious gallery in San Antonio. Part of his collection of crosses in Santafe, New Mexico. Currently working on his next exhibition to be held in San Antonio.
